It also doesn't support plugins, or so I heard, so probably not much use for game development anyway. It sounds like a rebadged version of their Maya Learning Edition only far more expensive. Play Monopoly much, Autodesk?
Stick with Blender. I actually think the much-maligned UI is nicer than Maya's in a lot of ways, and it will do everything an indie needs.

Added Palette F**K. Used to generate highlights and shadows and gradients between colours (saves to .pla which graphics gale will load)
