Amazing.
Sadly Scratch is misbehaving for me on Chrome.
The keyboard keeps 'sticking'. Happens on lots of different computers using chrome, on different Scratch projects.
And of course, it won't work for me at all on IE.

That's a shame - there must be some sort of Scratch issue!Mr_Staypuft wrote: ↑Thu Sep 06, 2018 2:11 amAmazing.

Interesting, it works perfectly on Chrome on my son's Chromebook.
But Chrome on PC and Mac is having that issue.
Oh well, we'll just play on the Chromebook.
In the meantime, I see there's a new Scratch (3.0) coming in January - maybe it's all new code
so this issue disappears.

yes and maybe you'll be able to produce an app! That would be cool - imagine the prototyping you could do...
Maybe we should have a RR Scratch compo?

Re: 2d Portal Game in Scratch
I don't think so.
As far as I can see, it's still "do Scratch in a browser" - the difference is that browsers on tablets will soon work
as I believe it will use non-flash technology.
if you want to make Apps, you need to move to Stencyl and it's $199/yr.
That's a bloody good idea - EXCEPT - it should be OUR KIDS... not us.
