Added Krita (FREE sketching and painting program) - https://krita.org

Haven't tried it, got linked to it today at work and it looks pretty sweet!

Added Dragon Bones (skelatal animation) - http://dragonbones.com/en/index.html

If you can't afford Spine or Spriter this looks just as good.

Godot engine goes open source. Exports to pretty much everything it seems.
Worked my way through the simple 2D game tutorial for version 3.0 of Godot and I'm pretty impressed. Might be time for me to quit faffing about with my own engine and just make some games...

I might have to give this a look. looking for something new to try out now. Not looked into any of it yet, but hopefully its cross platform - would be nice to do some Android work again.

godotengine.org wrote: Deploy games everywhere!
Mobile platforms: iOS, Android
Desktop platforms: Windows, macOS, Linux, UWP, *BSD, Haiku
Export to the web using HTML and Web Assembly
One-click deploy & export to most platforms. Easy to create custom builds too.
I've personally tried Windows and Linux. Easy peasy.
