Went away for a long weekend. Back to work today, so back on this. Added in Fuel and Fuel Consumption. There's currently no way to refuel. Roughed in Ore spawning and collecting. I still need to work in probability stuff - right now all asteroids spawn ore when they are destroyed. My aim is to have the smaller inner asteroid field spawn less ore and not all types to give miners a reason to venture out past Neptune. Currently there is no limit to the amount of ore you can collect, but there will be...
Roughed in Hull and Hull Damage. The harder you hit an asteroid, the more hull damage it does. It's currently meaningless and you can happily have negative Hull Damage.

Fancy title screen!

Left to do:
- add a way to refuel
- add a way to repair
- add a way to cash in the ore you collect
- make ore spawning probability based
- add additional planetary bodies
- finalize the look, feel and positions of the planetary bodies

Hopefully I can get it all done before I run out of program space!

Not at all sure I understand what's going on in your game, but it looks great. It's certainly a unique style. :D

Thanks! Should be easier to understand when you get a chance to play it. I'll release a version sometime this week.

Got all these done. Had to keep it simple due to program size constraints, so when you return to moon orbit it all happens automatically. Ore spawning probabilities were quick and easy to implement.

I'm trying to add screen clipping to some drawing fx for nicer planets (you can see it partially working in the background of the guide screenshot) but there's something about it that I've not quite sussed out yet. Then, finalize my solar system and fix any little bugs I care to...

Edit: got the clipping working on my lunch break. Silly mistake in my world to screen transform.
