C64

Format specific babbling. From Speccy to anything that's not the Speccy but they're probably not as good but we'll live, I guess.

I miss paddles. I wonder if there is a modern mini console for sale anywhere that has pongy type games and analog paddle controllers? Could probably make one with a Pi or Arduino I suppose.

Love the waterfalls there. *thumbs up*

Whilst I'm here, this takes the mickey: https://www.shadertoy.com/view/Xs3XW4
My love, I am the speed of sound.
I left them motherless, fatherless. Their souls dangling inside-out from their mouths.
But it's never enough.

Have upgraded to an SD card reader all-in-one fastloader cart. Games load so much quicker and actually makes the C64 usuable! Have been playing Bubble Bobble and Arkanoid (with VCS paddles - works really well). Worth the money!!!

I need to try that! I just snagged a couple of C64s and I have VCS paddles.
I hadn't realised they would work on a C64.
I got a fastload cartridge and loads of games on disk, so not in a rush for an SD card reader, yet.
