Nintendo - Wii/Gamecube/N64/SNES

Format specific babbling. From Speccy to anything that's not the Speccy but they're probably not as good but we'll live, I guess.

I'm going to start with Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg by Sega on the Gamecube. If you like your Mario 3d type games, then I recommend this for you.

Luigi's Mansion is one of my all time favourite games - an absolute gem.

Mine too. That's why I put it at the very top of the list. Not just one of the best GameCube games, but one of the best games ever.

I've tried a few times to get into Super Mario Sunshine and the controls are just kinda hateful. Maaaybe there's a half decent game in there but it's well hidden beneath some of the most awful 3d controls.
My love, I am the speed of sound.
I left them motherless, fatherless. Their souls dangling inside-out from their mouths.
But it's never enough.

Run Saber for the SNES - a Strider beater in my opinion.

Have now got a copy of Double Dash and we both like this game (shame one conroller has a dodgy Z button and lots of other dodgy buttons). Got a cheapy one of Amazon which seems fine and apparently Gamecube controllers are quite expensive at the moment due to the release of Super Smash Bros Wii!

Also, if you are after a guilty pleasure - we had a lot of fun playing Family Game Night V2 (especially Operation).

Have just swapped an A1200 for a modded Gamecube and 4 GBAs (all coordinatored in Spice orange and black). Also has matching gameboy player.

Have tried a few games including Pacman V (good fun but needs 4 players for maximum enjoyment) and Mario Sunshine.

Had forgotten how awful the old LCD screens were - no back lighting makes them really difficult to see. Have started investigating a new screen for one of the GBAs but seems very expensive.

Will have to revisit some of the above lists...
