Re: 2d Portal Game in Scratch

Interesting, it works perfectly on Chrome on my son's Chromebook.
But Chrome on PC and Mac is having that issue.

Oh well, we'll just play on the Chromebook.

In the meantime, I see there's a new Scratch (3.0) coming in January - maybe it's all new code
so this issue disappears.

Re: 2d Portal Game in Scratch

Amazing.

Sadly Scratch is misbehaving for me on Chrome.
The keyboard keeps 'sticking'. Happens on lots of different computers using chrome, on different Scratch projects.

And of course, it won't work for me at all on IE.

Looks great.

Will try it out with Wifey - another DW fan.

Re: Retro "Retro Remakes" Shenanigans and other stuff

I used to LOVE that podcast.

I actually used to have a small pair of earbud headphones that I'd put inside my hearing protectors when I was mowing/trimming
and it made the chore that much easier.

Re: Rockstar/Band Management games

PS: I've long had an idea for a game... well.... tangentially similar to this theme... ...and also would be built in GM:S... so if you get anywhere with yours Mr Grif I'll be cheering you on. Hope you do decide to give it a go sometime, there's definitely room for all kinds of approaches to the gen...

Re: Rockstar/Band Management games

i used to play Kudos: Rock Legend on and off, but always bombed out by 'year 5'. Eventually I went back to it, read a few online tips, and started doing better. Then finally beat the bastard - hoorah! As you said Mr Griff, it's got some great stuff in it, but presentation is a bit weird sometimes. O...

Re: The "I've released a thing" thread...

Looks great Mr Griffin, downloading now.

(a bit later)

Wow, both your Android games are great.
Love the genuine 'pixeliness' of them - something that so many "hey look I'm retro" game apps wish for but fail to deliver.
Very high on the 'one more go' scale. Nice work.

Re: Mini compos?

A few possible ideas, not sure if they've been done here already. A modern film licence in the style of the old Ocean ones, e.g. Dredd or Fury Road given the sub-game treatment. Alternatively, do a classic film from the time that slipped though the net. A game in the style of a quick & lazy port jo...
